Your actions are the result of your thoughts, and beliefs. If you act in a way that produces negative results, it is because you harbor thoughts and beliefs that support that action.

Think of what your highest vision of yourself would be. When picturing your highest vision of yourself stop and ask, “Is this action in alignment with my highest vision of myself?” In other words, is this the best I see for myself or can I see something better? Keep asking until you see the very best thing for yourself and then act according to that picture of yourself.

“But you don’t understand, that’s just how I do things. I’ve always done things that way.”

Exactly. And that is why you have what you have. You have what you have because you have always done things the way you do them. If you want something different, you have to change the way you do things. So change!
Everyone always wants to know how to change, and I am about to tell you. And I promise you will not like the answer. You just change. See? I told you that you would not like it. You wanted a complicated answer. A long, drawn out process with steps you could tick off as you accomplished them. Sorry. It is not like that. To change, you just change.

Remember how you did things yesterday? Do not do them that way today. Do not think the way you did. Do not talk the way you did. Do not act the way you did.

“As long as you keep on doing what you’ve been doing then you are going to keep on getting what you’ve been getting. If you don’t like what you’ve been getting then you’ve got to change what you’ve been doing.”
—Zig Ziglar

Got it yet? It is not as hard as you might think. Some say start small and build up, and change the little things first. Wrong! Change the way you think, the way you talk, the people you hang around with, the places you go, the things you read, the food you eat, the tele¬vision you watch. Change all of it. If I were broke, unhappy, and un¬successful, I would be willing to change the way I brush my teeth—if I thought it might make a difference. Remember that the stuff you do now has determined the results you have now. If you do not like those results, then change what you are doing right now.
